Far too often we are hearing that:
"The universe is billions of years old." [Click here for the truth]

"Dinosaurs lived millions of years ago." [Click here for the truth]
“Humans came from ape-like creatures.” [Click here for the truth]

"We do not have an accurate Bible today." [Click here for the truth]
"There is more than one way to get to heaven." [Click here for the truth]
"God wouldn't send anybody to hell." [Click here for the truth]

We are bombarded with a naturalistic, humanistic, materialistic, religion called evolution, every day in some form or another. We are told that "science" disproves the Bible, and that religion and science don't go together. Far too often people are buying that and falling farther and farther from God, while Christians are being led to doubt their faith and compromise with the world.
Compare what we hear today with what the serpent (the devil) said to Eve in the Garden …
"Yea, hath God said…” (Doubt)
Today, “science” tries to get us to doubt God’s clear and plain Word: “For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is” (Ex 20:11).
“Ye shall not surely die…” (Deny)
Today, we are being told that “God didn’t really create the universe - we evolved!”
“Ye shall be as gods…” (Deify)
Today, evolution teaches that we are getting better and better, and will one day evolve into gods.
I encourage you to examine this simple website and find out the truth: That real science glorifies the God of the Bible and that good doctrine is being given up for false.
The purpose of C-Ed Ministry is to expose errors, lies, and false teaching, and teach the truth:
(1) To the acknowledgment and glorifying of the the God of the Bible
(2) To point people to Christ for salvation and the forgiveness of sins
And having done so, reason from Scripture with those who acknowledge these first two points that their sins can be forgiven and washed away, and a new life begun only through repentance and faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ the Son of God, God in the flesh (His virgin birth, sinless life, holy works, substitutionary sacrifice on the cross for our sins, and rising from the dead for our justification to sit at the right hand of God).
(3) To edify the believer
In short: Educate, Evangelize, Edify
GOD SAYS,
Hosea 4:6 "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge."
2Pe 3:18 "But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen."
1Pe 3:15 "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear"
We read in the first verse of the Bible (Genesis 1:1):
In the beginning God …
This initial statement of the Bible tells us several things about God:
He is uncreated and eternal (Ps 90:2).
Before all things (Col 1:17).
Doesn’t need anything (Neh 9:5).
Doesn’t need anyone (Job 38:4).
He can do the impossible (Lk 18:27).
He owns everything (Deut 10:14).
He makes the rules (Dan 4:35).
We can also see that:
Gen 1:1 “In the beginning [time] God created the heaven [space] and earth [matter].”
GOD is outside of His Creation (space, time, and matter).
Therefore, God IS, before time, space, and matter WERE created.
Thus He can rightfully say He is, "I AM," for there is no other way to express this truth in our finite language.
Ex 3:14 "And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you."
Joh 8:58 "Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am."
God said it in the Old Testament and Christ said it in the New . . . ONE in the same.
This is also why God can rightly say:
Isa 55:9 "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."
Ps 147:5 "Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite."
Just as a computer designer is outside of his design, or a watchmaker is not inside his watch, so too God is outside HIS design.
However, out of love, GOD entered His Creation as a man (a creature) to reveal Himself to us:
Joh 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (2) The same was in the beginning with God. (3) All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made."
Joh 1:14 "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."
But, we need to be wathcful how the MODERN BIBLE VERSIONS present Creation:
LET'S COMPARE what the different Bible versions say in Genesis 1:5
(KJV) "... And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were THE first day."
(NASB) "... And there was evening and there was morning, ONE day."
(NLT) "... Together these made up ONE day."
(AMP) "... And there was evening and there was morning, ONE day."
(RSV) "... And there was evening and there was morning, ONE day."
(ASV) "... And there was evening and there was morning, ONE day."
By using the term, "one" day, the modern Bible translators are leaving room for interpretation of long periods of time, or ages, such as evolution teaches. One day could be any day, or age (e.g. “some day”).
Modern translations try to subtly get you to compromise the faith by allowing words like these to dim down our understanding of Scripture. But be careful of MODERN BIBLE VERSIONS. Don't believe it when someone tells you that "modern Bible versions are accurate." Please check out the WHICH BIBLE? series on this website.
This thinking has given rise to theories such as the DAY-AGE THEORY which teaches the idea that the days of creation were “ages,” or periods of time, rather than 6 literal days., and the GAP THEORY which teaches that a gap of millions/billions of years when another world of men, angels, and dinosaurs, lived and died. It is also supposedly when Lucifer fell. It allows time for evolution.
Compromisers use modern versions to promote it:
Genesis 1:5
(KJV) "... And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were THE first day."
(NASB) "... And there was evening and there was morning, ONE day."
(RSV) "... And there was evening and there was morning, ONE day."
(ASV) "... And there was evening and there was morning, ONE day."
But these theories go against the Bible and good doctrine:
Ex 20:11 "For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is …"
Six days means six days, this is clearly written and plainly read in the King James Bible.
Ge 1:31 "And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day."
Everything was "good." It would not have been "good" if there had been a pre-Adamic rebellion and or millions of years of evolution.
Ro 5:12 "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned."
The Bible clearly says that by one man sin entered the world, and death by sin. Adam sinned, bringing death into the world.

GOD GETS THINGS RIGHT THE FIRST TIME
De 32:4 "He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he."
He doesn't need millions or billions of years of death and suffering *as would be if evolution were true) to get things accomplished.
We are warned about trying to add meaning to Scripture:
2 Co 11:3 “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.”
Getting back to Creation, the Bible says,
Job 26:7 "He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing."
OTHER RELIGIONS have mythological-type explanations for natural phenomena, for example, they show the Earth hanging on the “backs of turtles,” on the “backs of elephants,” or held up by “Atlas,” etc. . .
Only the Bible describes what we know to be true.
1Ch 16:26 "For all the gods of the people are idols: but the LORD made the heavens."
It’s been estimated that there are enough stars for every individual on earth to own 11 trillion of them.
Psalm 147:4 “He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.”
Now that is awesome!
Interestingly, the word UNIVERSE means:
“uni” (one) + “verse” (relating to a group of words, spoken or written)
So, ONE VERSE (UNIVERSE) could refer to, "a verse" . . .
Gen 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heaven and earth."
Which is in line with:
Ps 33:6 "By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth."
When we accept the Genesis account of our origins, our natural response should be one of worship:
Re 14:7 "Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters."

Ps 104:2 Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:
It is a scientific fact that the universe is expanding!
The Lord told us so before any telescopes were invented!
Furthermore, it is not expanding flatly, but in waves. Like a curtain.
How marvelous are the works of God!
Job 26:14 "Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?"
Rev 4:11 "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created."
Acknowledging the Creator is a great first step but, God is looking for worshippers…
Ps 95:6 "O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker."
Joh 4:23 "But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him."
Joh 4:24 "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."
The truth is that:
God created a perfect heaven and earth (everything):
Ps 145:17 “The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.”
Ex 20:11 “For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is..”
He gave us commands to follow and we have all disobeyed them:
Rom 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
God’s Holiness and Justice demand punishment:
Rom 1:18 “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men.”
BUT GOD’s LOVE AND MERCY MADE A WAY:
God’s love and mercy met His Holiness and Justice 2,000 years ago on the Cross of Calvary in the Person of Jesus Christ:
1 Pe 3:18 "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:"
